Writing Punk Rock Riffs with the help of MIDI Drum Packs

Hows it going folks? It's been a while since I posted any sort of tutorial based content here. I've been writing alot lately and posting little 1 minute clips of tunes, mostly on instagram, here on occasion. I get asked alot by those new to recording how I write my riffs and drums, so ive put together a wee video on the process I like to use, starting off with a sketchy playthrough to a click and on to how to build the drum track with use of my MIDI pack. In this tutorial im using GGD Modern and Massive as the drum sampler and my Ultimate Punk and Melodic Hardcore MIDI pack!
